Welcome to my blog, Leiden365.nl.
Leiden365 is a collection of experiments, observations, hobbies, and projects. Some succeed, some fail, but all are worth documenting. Here you’ll find stories about software, games, travel, family moments, forgotten card games, unusual ideas, and everything in between. This blog is a place to share what I learn, build, discover, and sometimes abandon along the way. Not every experiment leads to success, but every experiment teaches something. Experiments in software and life.
I’m Adrie, living and working on Gran Canaria, where the days move at a slower rhythm and the small details of life feel a little more noticeable. I divide my time between my job an an IT company, my family, and a handful of personal projects that keep my curiosity awake: small apps, warm game mechanics, digital identity experiments, and the occasional deep dive into how things work behind the scenes.
I am curious by nature. My interests change regularly and I tend to dive deeply into whatever catches my attention at the time. This blog is a record of those journeys. Sometimes I return to old projects when a new idea or a clearer path appears. Sometimes I don’t. Both outcomes are part of the story. I don’t have one hobby. I have many temporary obsessions.
I’ve always liked creating things that feel gentle and intentional. Whether it’s a tiny piece of UI, a running ritual, or a blog post, I try to keep the noise out and focus on what feels real. My projects aren’t meant to be big or commercial, they’re just ways of exploring ideas, improving small corners of my life, and sharing the process with anyone who enjoys that kind of quiet creativity.
I write this blog as a place to collect those experiments. Some are practical, some are reflective, and some are just small notes to myself. If you find something useful here, that’s wonderful. If not, I hope it still feels like a nice place to visit.
I keep making things, tiny tools, quiet experiments, and projects that grew out of curiosity rather than ambition. They’re not grand or polished, just pieces of my world that I enjoy building. If you’d like to explore a few of them, here are some of my favourites.
- MycoSweep
MycoSweep is a puzzle adventure set in a mysterious forest world full of hidden mushrooms. Every tap reveals a small piece of the woods, shows subtle clues, and challenges you to discover where the magical fungi are hiding. Trust your intuition, read the forest’s signals, and unravel the pattern; a cozy mix of strategy, nature, and a touch of chaos. - Kokosorchideeën
There are three parts to this project. A coconut that we use to hold the plant. A base to hold the coco, and a pretty mini orchid to provide some stunning beauty. - ARC-graffiti
The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC), is a sailing event that begins in Las Palmas and crosses the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean, typically ending in Saint Lucia. It has been held annually since 1986 and attracts sailors from all over the world. The event is not just a race but also a social and adventurous experience, with over 200 boats and 1200 participants joining each year. Participants range from families and cruising couples to competitive racers, all sharing the excitement of crossing the Atlantic. - Pingo!

PokerBingo is a traditional Spanish game that blends the mechanics of Poker and Bingo. Players place small bets into various containers at the start of each round and race to claim them by completing specific card combinations on their boards. - YouTube
Videos about everything me, like this one: I used to dislike it, such a bitter drink. I still take my coffee with milk and sweetener or sugar, but I’ve come to appreciate it more and more. A small pick-me-up that is welcome at times. It’s also a pleasant ritual that I enjoy. Even if it’s just popping a capsule into the machine, it remains a moment I find enjoyable.
