This is the curriculum vitae of Adrie Berg. I have specialized myself in various publishing processes. I am concerned with quality and completeness, have a broad knowledge of hard- and software and like to develop my own software.
The Internet is one area of interest. I have been blogging since 2004 and developed my first freeware open-source program in 1995. I am the developer of the popular program DatePad which is used for keeping texts related to a specific date, effectively integrating a text editor with a calendar.
With a background in document publishing I am interested in the combination of publishing and the Internet for both authors and publishers. Recently I became more involved in managing web related projects, working with international partners.
New interests include open-source solutions like Drupal and WordPress and development in Java for mobile devices running Android.
As a hobby I also teach classes in English and Dutch to Spanish people and correct English documents. I also provide personalized technology trainings. I work as a volunteer for the Spanish Red Cross to help with their technological needs in the area of international cooperation.
